The Wii likely gets its last major RPG release in the U.S., Star Wars comes to Kinect, and Dante goes HD in this week's roundup of new game releases.
Title: Xenoblade Chronicles

I know it keeps seems like in recent weeks we've been sounding the death knell for the Wii, but really, it's almost that time. The next few months are light on major releases for Nintendo's console, E3 is just around the corner, and so is a likely release date and full pricing details for the console's successor, the Wii U.
So here's Xenoblade Chronicles serving as part of the last hurrah for the Wii. The RPG from Monolith Software wouldn't even be here unless it was for very vocal fan support, but here it is.
Title: Devil May Cry HD Collection
Platform(s): PS3, Xbox 360
Almost completely forgot about this one. Devil May Cry has what feels like a reversed version of the rule about Star Trek movies: that is to say, all of the odd-numbered ones are the best in this case. This collection covers the first three games in the series (DMC 4 was released on the 360 and PS3), and of the lot, you've got the first game which still holds up relatively well after all these years, the second which, in part, deserves the derision it's received over the years, and the third, which represents the peak for the series in terms of difficulty, polish, story, and really anything Devil May Cry about the series.
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is seven years old now, but it still feels pretty fresh today with its frenetic action and tight controls. In terms of character action games, this one knocked it out of the park and along with Bayonetta set the standard for what you can do with the attack-dodge-parry-shoot-pose formula.
Title: Kinect Star Wars
Platform(s): Xbox 360
Tell me you're not just the least bit intrigued, dancing games notwithstanding. Honestly, Star Wars is in such a weird place right now as a franchise that it's really hard to get bugged when it's just an tool for whatever kind of marketing-led conversations about how best to leverage Wookies for this quarter.
Anyway, Kinect Star Wars lets you swing a virtual lightsaber, and for some fan, somewhere, that's still the dream.
Title: Shoot Many Robots
Platform(s): PC
Nothing new to report here, really—Demiurge Studios' Metal Slug-like shooter was released in the middle of March for the PS3 and 360 and is just now making its debut on the PC, but since we didn't give it a nod last month, it seemed like the right thing to do to bring it up now.
